Friday was in the name of inspiration!
BCakeNY was the proud sponsor of the TEDxEAST event in Tribeca. The event was held at the City Winery and had the theme: Play, Dream, Create! among the motivational speakers was Raymond Gaspard, Broadway producer of A Steady Rain, Sheena Lyengar Professor at CBS, and Richard Saul Wurman, founder of TED, him self. As for the entertainment Suzanne Vega, the 8 year old piano prodigy, Blake Frank and Company XVI was keeping everybody on their toes and ready to listen.
However, the real celebration of the day was the birthday of Richard Saul Wurman which was sponsored by BCakeNY with tasty cupcakes for everyone. A huge success, they were gone in 60 seconds!
The birthday celebration continued at the Soho Grand with a "big apple" cake. Don't you just wanna take a bite :)You can!
